performative drawing .

for this excerise I used different fabrics and taped them together to create my own brush. my thought behind this is how I perceive noise and I feel like it came out well and the colours I used show how crazy noise can come across .

I used the same method for this painting but this time I wanted it to have a bit more structure to it so I used masking tape before I started painting and used black and red paint .

this is what I used to paint with ,it was a mixture of lace and curtain fabric it was great for a rough texture .

because the rest of this project had been quite negative I decided to turn and empty bottle into something pretty but still with the meaning of although things might be dark at some point something good will grow if you let it .

surface pattern workshop

for this workshop we worked on repeat patterns , I wanted to link mine to my project , I incorporated black wine bottles into my design . I like that it has meaning but also can be used for other designs . I then created a small design to give an idea of what it could be used for .
